Middleware and Web Services
Middleware and Web Services is a master course at the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Information Technologies. The course provides in-depth information about modern architectures for integration of enterprise applications and covers web service technologies, SOA, Enterprise Service Bus technologies, SOA Governance, security and perofrmance.
Web 2.0
Web 2.0 is a master course at the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Information Technologies. The course builds on Middleware and Web Services course and further provides in-depth information on how to build modern Web 2.0 applications by using the latest technologies and standards.
Semantic Web
This module is deals with methods and models supporting automated processing and sharing information on the web by content and meaning. It focuses on formal models of knowledge representation (RDF, RDFS, OWL), their theoretical aspects (structures and satisfiability, description logic, relation to rule based systems) and also on practical aspects (e.g., crawling and annotation of web resources, user models, ontology mapping and querying).
Web Data Mining
This course provide students with an overview of web mining technologies and qualify them to use some of them in practice. Upon successful completion students will be able to identify specific method for automatic processing of web data and understand the procedure of applying such methods in appropriate applications.
